Writing

• Presently writing freelance news for HOUR and arts journalism for the Montreal Gazette.
• Publications include: Canadian Art, McGill Reporter, Espace Sculpture, the Mirror, the Montreal Review of Books, Place Publique, Books in Canada, MTL Magazine, the Calgary Sun, and many others, 1978-2003.
• Published fiction in Matrix Magazine, 1991.

Illustration

• Created artwork for Caisse Desjardins and McGill Reporter. Also Éco-Quartier McGill, Coracle Press, Éco-Initiatives, Bellingham Dry Cleaners, The Governor General of Canada, the Alberta Businessman's Association and others, 1987-2003.
• Published comic strips and illustrations for MensuHell, Flirt, Books in Canada, Matrix, Fish Piss, The Montreal Comic Jam, Guillotine, Broken Pencil, Cute Comics, Spliff, Tel Quel, and others, 1993-2002.

Translation and Editing

• Currently translating into English Piège pour le Jules-Verne, a young adult sf novel by Michèle Laframboise.
• Translated television and documentary proposals freelance for Cirrus Productions Inc. and others (2000-02).
• Adapted promotional material for Enzyme Communications (2002).
• Translated fine arts criticism for Espace Sculpture magazine, 1993-2001, and chapters of a book of humour, The Mandarin Principle by Maurice Henrie (University of Ottawa Press, 1990).
• Critiqued, edited, and/or typed literary manuscripts for three authors, 1995-2001.

Stage/Screen

• Painted conceptual illustrations and did editorial work on proposal for short film, Mountie Royal, 2002.
• Produced documentation; did coordination and scheduling for Redplanet Films, 2001.
• Worked as set painter on film and television shoots, 1987-2002. Extra on Timeline and others, 2000-2002).
• Produced and shot Super-8 film, Goodbye Lumiére, for artist's project in Calgary, 1985.
• Created costume and set designs for five children's theatre productions in Calgary, 1978-1981.

Computers and Graphic design

• Created authors' web sites for www.bernicegold.ca(2003) and www.daisyinstitute.com (2001-2003).
• Familiar with Photoshop 6, Fractal Painter, Corel Draw, Pagemaker. Comfortable on most word processors, Windows and Macintosh platforms in French and English.
• Created brochures for The Electronic-Rights Defence Committee, and the Centre for Career Management.
• Typing speed, 40 WPM with accuracy.
