The "Get the issue done" session didn't yield a cover, so, a couple of days later, in my hour of despair, I emailed an idea to Jeff: "A quite homely frog, wearing a jughead hat (a crown, of course), standing behind a kissing booth (Kiss the prince, $2). Covered in lipstick and grinning rogueishly. I'd make him man-size, it'd make the image more striking....maybe there oughta be a girl in the foreground, covering her mouth and running towards the viewer (and the nearest place to vomit)..." And this is what Jeff ably cobbled together, to my frazzled delight.
